To the most loving and unselfish Wife, Mama, Granny
My mother lived her life for her family. She and my father were married at 19 and were about to celebrate 40 years of marriage when God called her Home. Ask anyone who knew Mama, and they will tell you that her children and grandchildren were her world. Also, they would tell you that she would do anything to help anyone who was in need. Many times during her precious life, Mama put her needs and wants on the back burner to help someone else. She did it without complaint and never drew any attention to what she was doing. After her passing, we were overwhelmed at the lives that Mama had touched. We didn’t truly understand exactly how many lives she had impacted. Mama wanted to be an organ donor so that she could continue to help others. She didn’t realize that it would even help her family when we got the call about 2 am that Mama had helped save two lives with her gifts. It was just another reason for us to be proud of her, and it gave us a sense of peace knowing that a part of Mama is still alive and helping others. We all miss her terribly, but we know that she’s happy at Home in Heaven, and it’s just a matter of time before we will be with her again!
