We dedicate this memorial to one of our dearest friend. He was special in so many ways, We love you...
We only knew Chris for the past three years, but they were full with great memories and we will cherish them forever. Christopher’s primary home was Hollywood Florida where he worked as a podiatrist working with seniors who were not able to travel to an office. He loved his patients as much as they loved him. They were his family. He was a very giving, caring, and compassionate person which made him an outstanding doctor.
The past three years Dr Chris made his second home in Saint Pete Florida were he spent his free time for what we called his RR. He stayed with us (John & Juanita) and instantly became part of our family of friends. We spent all holidays and special occasions together. His Florida Family will never forget him and he will be missed by us all. He was very involved in the Cancer Toys for Tots party for the past 2 years where we collected toys for children being treated for cancer. He was in charge for coming up with the theme for the parties, The White Party and The Mardi Gras Party, as well as all his work that made the party so much fun, …he will be missed, So this year we are going to dedicate it in his memory by making the theme, The Doctor’s Party….
He loved to travel and we were fortunate to have traveled with him to Hawaii twice, New Orleans, Florida Keys, Naples, Chicago, and his favorite place Orlando’s Theme Parks as often as he could. We really enjoyed spending time with his family in Hawaii and having him spending time with ours in Chicago. I know his family was proud of him and he was proud of them. He loved his nieces and nephews and always talked about what great things they achieved. One of his biggest regrets was not being able to spend more time with them, but they were always in his heart. He was an animal lover. Our pets Spirit, Darby, Ruby, Lilly, and Bradley loved when he visited and would never leave him alone. He always found time to play with them. Spirit and Ruby & Lilly have since past away and I am sure they are with him playing as they always have.
Chris had a smile that made you smile no matter what. From the first time we met him his charisma won us over.He was a quick witted funny person. He was one of those special people who made you feel happy whenever he was around. He lived life to the fullest and made the best of what he had whether good or bad. He helped many people in his life.He was one of my best friends. We became very close over the past 3 years. He was always there for me and I was there for him. I am glad he was part of our life and I wish it could have lasted forever.Even in his death, he still reached out and helped others, We are all proud that he was able to help by donating to life link. We will never forget…….
They say the success of a man is measured by the friends you make,Dr Christopher Johnson was one of the most successful men I have ever known.
We will miss him dearly and I know we will meet again…
