& 1 Mile Fun Run in Ybor City

 

Tampa, FL — LifeLink Legacy Fund® and Lions Eye Institute Foundation are uniting forces to co-host the family-friendly Roar Through Ybor 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run on the evening of Friday, April 19th at Centennial Park in Ybor City. The event will raise awareness and funds for organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation.

 

Race registration and check-in on race day begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 7:00 p.m. race kickoff.   Awards will be presented during the post-race celebration in Centennial Park, along with local cuisine, music, beer and wine while uniting together in support of organ, eye and tissue donation. Sonya Bryson, of Tampa Bay Lightning fame, will be singing the National Anthem. Roar Through Ybor is being co-sponsored this year by the City of Tampa.
