WHAT: During National Donor Sabbath, faith leaders, donor families, transplant recipients and donation and transplantation professionals across the country representing many religions and belief systems will participate in services and programs to educate the public about the life-saving gift of organ and tissue donation.
WHEN: This year, National Donor Sabbath will be held during November 13-15, 2020.
HOW: If your faith group would like a virtual presentation about organ, eye and tissue donation or graphics that provide donation education to share on your organizations social media platforms, or with your congregation via email or newsletter, please fill out the material request form below. Presentations and materials are free and can be scheduled at any time during the month of November. If you have any questions please reach out via the contact us form.
For volunteers and members of the community who are not faith leaders, but wish to encourage their faith community to participate in National Donor Sabbath, resources have been provided to help you share National Donor Sabbath with your faith leaders, including a letter of introduction to the National Donor Sabbath celebration.
